Somehow these two cats have managed to snuggle into this box together. Usually, it begins with one in the box - sound asleep. The other comes up & sees it is already occupied. Then the ritual  begins. A certain amount of licking takes place which seems to be the ticket for getting to share this apparently highly desirable spot.

 Today my brand new Rag Rug arrived in the mail and I laid it out on the kitchen table to enjoy it's beauty before placing it in the upstairs bathroom. What followed was certainly very predictable! As cats go though, they will use it for several days and then move on to another favorite spot. I can wait.
