in the house of Love be the instrument..

~ Rumi

"In the house of lovers,
the music never stops,
the walls are made of songs
and the floor dances."

the three greatest treasures...

“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.

Simple in actions and thoughts,
you return to the source of being.

Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.

Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.”

parenting yourself...

(facebook)

"Your ego self can be rather extreme, often working with all or nothing energies. It cooks up grand schemes that sound dangerous and elicit fear, or it stagnates and digs in with great resistance. Dear Ones, there are all kinds of options that exist between either extreme! There is an wide opportunity for growth and movement between the two. Think of your ego as a wild and petulant child, and your job is to love it and to make wise decisions that serve the whole.

Is there a big dream you would like to attain, but you put it off because it feels too big? Is there an extreme that tempts you even though you know it wouldn't be in your best interest? Consider both the attention seeking behaviour of your ego.

If you decide you wish to embrace moving forward in your life to your highest experiences, know that a little bit at a time accumulates to great change. Consistency is key! Accept that the flow of creation has times of acceleration, and pause, and embrace both with an intention for continued progress. There is a wide swath of energy available for you to use for all your heartfelt creations that will absolutely get you where you wish to be, safely and efficiently, if you become your own loving parent and make decisions from the base of your innate wisdom and authenticity."

waiting...the lost art.

"We have forgotten how to wait;
it is almost an abandoned space. And it is our greatest treasure
to be able to wait for the right moment.
The whole existence waits for the right moment.
Even trees know it--
when it is time to bring the flowers and when it is time to let go of all the leaves
and stand naked against the sky.
They are still beautiful in that nakedness,
waiting for the new foliage with a great trust that the old has gone,
and the new will soon be coming,
and the new leaves will start growing.
We have forgotten to wait,
we want everything in a hurry.
It is a great loss to humanity....
In silence and waiting
something inside you goes on growing--your authentic being.
And one day it jumps and becomes a flame,
and your whole personality is shattered;
you are a new man.
And this new man knows what ceremony is,
this new man knows life's eternal juices."

inattention v.s. attention...

"Inattention is rampant in almost every area of life.
Many of us move through our lives so quickly and carelessly
that any real connection
with ourselves, our friends, our families, and our environments is next to impossible.
What's more,
our inattention often causes problems not only for ourselves but also for others.
For anyone wishing to live a more intelligent, conscious, or spiritual life,
the study of attention is paramount.
Our attention is what connects us with the world in and around us.
Without it, we are simply sleep walkers,
experiencing little more than tiny fragments of ourselves and others.
If you're interested in studying your attention more deeply,
try slowing down just enough to pay attention to what you're doing,
as well as yourself doing it.
See if you can hold yourself to a higher standard of attention."

zen is all inclusive

"Zen is all inclusive.
It never denies - never says "no" to anything.
 It accepts everything
and transforms it into a higher reality."

Silence is divine non-intervention...

Silence

Moments of inner quiet will burn out all obstacles,
without fail.
Don't doubt its efficacy.
Try it.
Silence is the main factor.
In peace and silence you grow.
In peace and silence the "I" dissolves,
and the inner and the outer become one.

charisma...

“Kharisma is that, what you would call, that light within you.
But I don’t even want to call it a light.
Kharisma is the I Am in expression, and once you dust away,
clear away all those other things –
ancestral biology and personality that’s not yours …
I cannot stress this enough.
Your identification, your personality is not really you.
It’s really been cobbled together with a lot of bricks
that have come from foreign lands.
Cobbled together in some haphazard interesting way
I guess you could say kind of creative artistic way,
but you’re tired of it now and I know that and you know that.
We all know that. Well, most of us know that.
Kharisma is the natural Self coming forth.
The interesting thing about Kharisma,
it’s already there if you just let it come out.
You’re not going to be able to identify its attributes,
 all the different things.”

Discrimination - America's caste system...

"...do you think there is no caste system in New York City?
There is a different kind of caste system based on education,
or economic capabilities; all these things create their own kind of discriminatory groups.
So it is not going to change unless we revolutionize the human mind.
If there is no sense of inclusiveness in individual human beings
there is no way that the systems they create
or actions they perform will lead to inclusiveness."

Self-absorption...

"How joyous it is to witness a human being recognising the real Self
and merging with It. When the tribal or personal mind is absorbed
in the universal Self, the human being is transformed from person to presence
and is again in harmony as wholeness. This is the real Yoga.
The universal mind is open and boundless
whereas the tribal mind is full of delusions. On the surface,
the illumined one may appear to belong to some tribe also
but is inwardly the impersonal reality. Just as the journey of a caterpillar
is completed when it changes into a butterfly,
Satsang is the changing room
where the person changes back to its true nature."

yoga...to reunite with our soulmate within

"Yoga means to unite the limited with Unlimited."

"Your spirit/Spirit is your soulmate."

Stop looking outside yourself for your soulmate.

Bodies need other bodies to varying degrees -
depending upon the degree of Self-Realization.
Minds need other minds less as time goes on...
especially as one realizes it's one mind
expressing itself through many forms.
Whatever there is to find out and know
can be accessed through the one mind.
Or, facebook and google, if one is lazy or not tuned in.

Reconnecting our mind/s with One Mind while still in form
...there's hope yet for us in this lifetime.
