spirituality by frequency osmosis?

Be here as Presence.
Then you can absorb my pointings quickly
because we are in the same frequency field.
You are learning through frequency rather than through your head.
Your heart and mind are corresponding energetically
and already know everything I speak, you see?
Expand in the power of knowingness or intuitive perception.
And very easily you will become aware of yourself as Being
rather than merely a three dimensional entity.
Something more spacious is being revealed, more intuitive,
always unchangingly now. It is just here.
And it is never in battle with the mind.
It is pure and timeless.
The body is existing in its natural innocence.
Beautiful. It does not have any ambition to be famous.
It just Is.
It the house of the being, the body of the Being.
There is nothing to criticise.
All is the Is-ness and everything is functioning spontaneously.
You are in real time and harmony with the universe.
This is one’s natural state.
Experience, recognise and acknowledge That.
You are here.

This is the purpose of meditation....quieting one's individual mind and entraining to Awake Mind.
One doesn't necessarily need to sit in the presence of someone
who is perceived to be an awakened individual. But, if that's what it takes then that's what it takes.

universal Heart universal Being

"You say you have heard stories about being swallowed by the Master
and so you became afraid of me. But now it is different.
Your only wish is to disappear completely.
Then don't touch anything at all.
  Don't combine yourself with anything.
Don't hold any desire or intention,
or any ideas about who you are or who or what you should be.
Now the real Master, The Satguru within,
is going to swallow you up from inside.
This means your mind is being merged in the universal Heart,
the universal Being.
It is all unfolding by itself.
And it is the most beautiful thing.
Don't listen to what the mind has to say about it.
Stay in the experience itself. Don't imagine. Be quiet.
Be in the moment without expectations
and you feel the Presence stirring within you.
Such joy.
Such Peace.
No arrogance.
No pride.
No sense of specialness.
Just the natural state, natural Being.
Welcome home."

compassion and love vs love and sex

“You simply think that you have a soul.
You believe that you have a soul because of your fear of death.
But you have not known unless you have loved.
Only in love does one come to feel that one is more than the body, more than the mind.
That’s why I say compassion is therapeutic.
What is compassion? Compassion is the purest form of love.
Sex is the lowest form of love, compassion is the highest form of love.
In sex the contact is basically physical; in compassion the contact is basically spiritual.
 In love, compassion and sex are both mixed;
the physical and the spiritual are both mixed.
Love is midway between sex and compassion.
You can also call compassion prayerfulness.
You can also call compassion meditation.
The highest form of energy is compassion.
The word compassion is beautiful.
Half of it is passion –
somehow passion has become so refined that it is no longer like passion.
It has become compassion.”

non resistant non grasping - no push pull

"Whatever comes, do not push away,
whatever goes, do not grieve.
Everything appears just like clouds floating by;
they just come and go.

Awareness and truth are one."

"There is no conflict between the world and sannyas.
It is not the world but ignorance that one must renounce.
Giving up the world is not sannyas.
The awakening of knowledge, of self-knowledge, is sannyas.
This awakening leads to a renunciation, not of the world,
but of attachment to it.
The world stays where it is and as it is but we are transformed.
Our outlook is transformed. This transformation is very fundamental.
In this awakened state we do not have to give up anything.
What is useless and superfluous automatically drops
like the ripened fruit from a tree.
Just as darkness disappears at the coming of light, a
t the dawn of knowledge impurities pass away
and what remains thereafter is sannyas.
Sannyas has nothing to do with the world.

It has to do with the self. It is the purification of the self.
It is just like the purification of alloyed gold."

if you haven't wept deeply...

"Do not try to become anything.
Do not make yourself into anything.
Do not be a meditator.
Do not become enlightened.
When you sit, let it be.
What you walk, let it be.
Grasp at nothing.
Resist nothing.
If you haven’t wept deeply,
you haven’t begun to meditate."

Acclimatise the mind to the Heart.

let your own heart and intuition guide your life experience...

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone elses life.
Don't be trapped by dogma -
which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary."

Happy Valentine's Day...to me.

“First of all, it’s about loving yourself, and you’ve set up a life design – all of you, one way or the other – it’s about loving yourself. You’re not going to find a man. Why? Because your soul is smart enough to know that it’s sticky. It’s sticky stuff. Finding somebody else is going to distract you. It’s about loving yourself. You’re not going to find anybody until you can love yourself. It’s a beautiful plan.

Look – if you’re into statistics – look into the statistics of Shaumbra who are single, or single without children, or single with children, doesn’t matter. Why? Why? Because of bad breath? No. Because you don’t have much personality? Not at all, you’ve got a great personality. You designed it that way so you could have time to fall in love with yourself. You don’t need a man or a woman or anything else. You don’t need a dog or a cat. It’s about you, and your life design says, “Discover yourself.”

Now, I would come back on you and say, why are you so desperate for a man? Why? It’s just going to be another lifetime with another one of those man experiences. This is the lifetime to be with yourself. Why not take that same passion and that same energy and invite your soul into your life? Instead of sharing your bed with a stinky old man, why don’t you share it with your soul?”

I AM is the first born....

The sense, sound or vibration, 'I Am'
is the first born; the first name and vibration
emanating from the Supreme One.
Leaving aside all 'otherness' and merging
the attention in the 'I am-ness' presence
inside the heart, sentient beings attain lasting
freedom from the binding chains of the delusion.

is meditation the antidote for evolution?

"We're swamped with therapies, self-help books, and techniques -
what musician and activist Bob Geldof called
‘the thriving economy of psychotherapists, designer religions, and spiritual boutiques’
- which treat our lives as projects to be tweaked and fixed.
Isn't meditation (if it's anything at all) a relief from all this?
Isn't it the opposite of repairing and adjusting and striving,
and perpetually wanting things to be different?"
~Barry Evans

exactly how conscious are you?

“So it begs the question what is a master? What is a Master? You’ve had a lot of notions and concepts and beliefs. You’ve looked at others as they might be Masters. You’ve had examples in the past – hundreds, thousands years ago – of supposed Masters. But what is a Master?

A Master is one who is conscious of their consciousness. They are aware. That’s pretty much it. Pretty much it. They’re aware. You can throw in a lot of other words – enlightened and everything else – but it’s really the awareness.

Most humans, they know that they are living. Even though they’re desperately trying to have feeling in their life, life in their life, they know they’re living through their suffering, through their lack, through things they don’t have. Oh yes, at times through romance and love and accomplishment, but mostly, mostly they’re not aware of themselves. They’re not conscious of their consciousness.

Indeed, they get up in the morning and go about their routines – routines that have been very deeply programmed in – but never, if very seldom, do they stop and say, “Ah, I exist. I Am. I Am.”

The Master – the Master knows they are conscious, conscious of their consciousness. It’s that simple. A simple, simple awareness – “I Am. I exist. Here I am, nothing else matters. Not what came before me, not what happened in another lifetime, not what happened yesterday. It doesn’t matter. I Am in this moment.” That’s a Master.”

attaining freedom from fear...

"All that it takes for us to attain freedom from fear is a conviction that there is a God. Whether you believe it or not, there are not many persons who believe that there is a God. When asked, the usually say, "I believe in God," but they really don't. Few persons do. Wherever there is a conviction that there is a God, there is no fear, because the very word itself must signify Omnipotence, Infinity, Eternality, and that would leave nothing to fear. It signifies Omnipresence, and that would instantly remove fear of anything whether appearing as a person, a political party, a group of any kind, or anything else---even an ideology. Who could fear an ideology in the presence of God? Who could fear bombs in the presence of God?

Nothing can ever be power in the presence of God. If there were not true, there would be no God, or God would be on a finite, human, or limited level. This would not be God because the word itself must give to us a feeling of omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience, and in that realization, all fear goes, and when the fear has gone, the object of the fear disappears."

we were always infinite, so we cannot die...

~0~
"When we die, we do not become infinite.
We were always infinite, so we cannot die.
~0~
Sitting with the dying is such a privilege.
In the absence of a tomorrow,
in the face of absolute uncertainty and ungrounded-ness in terms of the story,
total intimacy is all that is left, total presence, profound here-ness.
Every moment is rendered absolutely sacred - as it always was.
Every breath is precious.
Every word is there to be deeply heard and savored,
every touch reverberates throughout the ages, e
very look, every glance, all that is said and unsaid,
all that is remembered and all that is lost to time,
all is held in the vast embrace of Now
the only place we truly meet, the only place we have ever met.
What happens ‘next’ is secondary in the face of this fire-like intimacy,
untouched by death and dying and the dreams of tomorrow.
~0~
You cannot leave me, for we are each other,
and where would we go?
Come into my heart,
where you always were,
and I will take you with me."

Nobody can be miserly with love...

Nobody can be miserly with love.

Let me repeat it: nobody can be miserly with their love. Either one has love -- then it starts overflowing in its own time; you don't have to push it, you don't have to force it -- or one has not. When one has not, one can only pretend. Millions of people are doing that. Everybody is pretending to love and they have not known what love is.

Love can be known only as a fragrance of meditation, not before it. You have not known even the flower. You are not acquainted with the fragrance. Once the flower opens up, it is beyond the capacity of the flower to be miserly about fragrance -- what can it do? The fragrance will go with the winds, it will spread all over.

The flower cannot be miserly, neither can love be, because love also is a flower that grows in your meditation.... So you just enjoy being alone; this is your meditation. And the spring will come, it always comes. Trust existence. The flower will blossom, and love will flow from you.

i forgive myself...

Buddhist Prayer

If I have harmed anyone, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through my own confusions, I ask forgiveness.

If anyone has harmed me, in any way, either knowingly or unknowingly through their own confusions, I forgive them.

And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive, I forgive myself for that

For all the ways that I harm myself, negate, doubt, belittle myself, judge or be unkind to myself through my own confusions, I forgive myself.

we are not the movie on the screen nor the characters...

"When you go to the movies, you enjoy yourself but you do not get attached to the characters on the screen, nor do you get attached to the situation in the movie. Is that not so?
It is an immature mind that gets attached to the movie and all its details. It is an immature mind that complains about being addicted to the movie and seeks all sorts of therapies to release itself from its addiction.
You probably don't like to hear that. Why? After all, is it not true that it is naive to identify with the characters of a dream?
Notice you are the open space, the aware awake presence to which all appearances manifest. The aware presence that you are is not tainted by whatever appears on the screen and is completely free from all images, all sensations and all events.
You are this freedom, unbound and unconstrained. You are the happiness and peace that is veiled from you as you get attached to the movie.
Thank goodness the veil is made out of thoughts and sensations! There is no real steel wall that you have to pierce, no real mountain you have to climb and no real obstacles you have to surmount!
It is all dream stuff that is released as you completely relax in the pure awareness that you are. Relax your body mind and do not engage in the tomorrow (time) dream game."

Philip Seymour Hoffman on searching for happiness...

Rubin Museum of Arts on youtube
Published on Feb 4, 2014
In Memoriam: Philip Seymour Hoffman
Just over a year ago philosopher Simon Critchley met with Philip Seymour Hoffman for the final in a series of on-stage conversations called Happy Talk. In a searching dialogue that in hindsight seems prescient, the actor wrestles with the concepts of happiness, love, and death with the same courage and compelling insight that he brought to his roles. Recorded at the Rubin Museum of Art on December 17, 2012

the yin and yang of love and gratitude

"Love tends to be a more active energy, the act of giving oneself unconditionally.
By contrast, gratitude is a more passive energy, a feeling that results from
having been given something, knowing that you have been given the gift of life
and reaching out to receive it joyously with both hands.
What the world needs now is gratitude. We must begin
by learning what it means to have enough...
to feel gratitude for having been born on a planet so rich in nature,
gratitude for the water that makes our life possible.
Do we really know how wonderful it is
to be able to breathe a big breath of clean air?
If you open your eyes you will see that the world
is full of so much that deserves your gratitude.
When you have become the embodiment of gratitude,
think about how pure the water that fills your body will be.
When this happens, you yourself will be a beautiful shining crystal of light.

scorch your entire mind...

"There are very few people who have had a personal realization
without a teacher or without satsang.
Yet it's possible. But it is satsang
and the Sage that really ruin your mind.
Scorch your entire mind. Make you mentally deficient.
Which is a blessing in disguise.
When some of you walk out of here you tell me,
"You've got me completely confused now."
And I say, "Good that is what my job is.
To confound you, to confuse you.
To break up your mind into fragments."
My job is not to tell you the things you like to hear.
My job is to hit a nerve someplace within you
that makes you think, "That guy is crazy.
He's out of his mind. What's he talking about?"
That is when you're starting to make spiritual progress.
When you totally agree with me this is a hindrance
to your spiritual path. I am not asking you to agree with me.
I am asking to have your own experience
and to find the truth for yourself."

yolo...

Sarah Nolt

This week I went to see a movie for a few hours of monkey brain diversion
It was between Mitty and the Book Thief.
I chose "Book Thief", which is not exactly a happy-making film.
As I walked out to my car these thoughts came...
~
"It's not up to us who lives or dies.
It's already been decided.
So, live joyfully each day. And Life doesn't end.
Bodies do, but Life doesn't.
It goes on and on, in many many different shapes and forms.
What really matters (to us) is the Love we can allow
into our personal experience while we are in our form."
~
"It's One Love expressing through us all to the degree we allow.
People come and people go throughout the course of our lives.
We are the Love itself expressing Itself as many individualized forms."
~
YOLO

~
Truly, a never beginning and never ending once.
So, cast aside fear, and Live!
Be willing to make mistakes, but don't make them twice.
If you can help it. And you can. I think. :-)
~
p.s....for those who may not know what yolo stands for...
"you only live once".

existence is not a problem to be solved...

Existence is not a problem to be solved, it is a mystery to be lived.
And you should be perfectly aware what the difference is between a mystery and a problem.
A problem is something created by the mind;
a mystery is something which is there, not created by the mind.
A problem has an ugliness in it, like disease. A mystery is beautiful.
With a problem, immediately a fight arises.
You have to solve it; something is wrong, you have to put it right;
something is missing, you have to supply the missing link.
With a mystery there is no question like that. The moon arises in the night....
It is not a problem, it is a mystery. You have to live with it.
You have to dance with it. You have to sing with it, or you can be just silent with it.
Something mysterious surrounds you.

Be less of a judge and you will be surprised that when you become a witness
and you don't judge yourself, you stop judging others too.
And that makes you more human, more compassionate, more understanding.

romancing your soul...

“When I stopped fighting with myself
 I stopped fighting with others.
When I stopped putting myself down
I stopped putting others down.
When I stopped being dishonest with myself
I stopped being dishonest with others.
When I began taking responsibility for my healing
I stopped projecting my pain onto others.
It was when I chose to stop behaving negatively
that my life began to change for the better.”
