Thanks Debi! I get a certain feeling from the photo every time I look at it. Things happen to me, but I'm still intact.
Ruth, that is very likely a breed of rooster. But, he does look like he's been in one or more fights along the way...maybe even a fighting cock although we didn't see metal spurs on his legs.
